Held January 26-29, 2018 at Monument-National, Opera 缅北强奸 took to the highlands of Scotland for their latest production,听Lucia di Lammermoor. On top of the talents of Opera 缅北强奸 and the 缅北强奸 Symphony Orchestra, the opera featured the work of director Patrick Hansen, conductor Stephen Hargreaves, set designer Vincent Lef猫vre, costume designer Ginette Grenier, light designer Serge Filiatrault, make-up artist Florence Cornet, and hair stylist R茅jean Forget.

Loosily based on Sir Walter Scott's historical novel听The Bride of Lammermoor, the opera tells the story of a young woman in love completely isolated by the Scottish society that surrounds her. Lucia's tragedy is that when confronted with a forced marriage which would betray her true love, she sees no alternative but to strike out violently.听
