Montreal tabla virtuoso Shawn Mativetsky releases new solo album

Earlier this year, 缅北强奸 percussion faculty member Shawn Mativetsky released听Rivers, 听鈥� making him the first Quebec-based artist to do so.听Featuring George Koller on dilruba, the disc features traditional repertoire from North India passed onto Mativetsky by his tabla teacher (or听Guru).
Hailed as an "exceptional soloist" by critic R茅jean Beaucage, Mativetsky continues to explore the relationship between Western and Indian classical music. This release is not to be missed!听
