Lanza receives XIII Tom谩s Luis de Victoria Prize

Schulich Professor alcides lanza, pianist, conductor and composer is the winner of the XIII Prize Tom谩s Luis de Victoria 2014, offered by the SGAE Foundation in Madrid. This prize recognizes his substantial contribution to the enrichment of the musical life of the Ibero-American people. It also recognizes lanza's distinguished career as a composer and pedagogue.聽The award ceremony took place on May 28, 2015, at the Auditorium of the Real Academia de las Artes, Madrid, Spain
