Bachelor's Recital: Zoé de Boucherville-Dickson, soprano

Zoé de Boucherville-Dickson is a soprano from Montréal, Canada. Moving to Portland, Oregon, she began taking piano and voice lessons at a young age. She competed in the Portland Interscholastic League's Solo/Ensemble Competition, winning first place in the Soprano division (2016). Zoé has participated in several choirs, namely the Pacific Youth Choir, which she performed with the Oregon Symphony on many occasions. Moving back to Montréal to pursue a higher education, Zoé obtained a DEC in Classical Vocal Performance from Cégep de Saint-Laurent, performing the title role in Reynaldo Hahn's operetta Ciboulette and studying with Geneviève Lévesque and Jacqueline Woodley. She continues her studies at the Schulich School of Music with Prof. Matthew Treviño and Louise Pelletier. This year, Zoé debuted in Opera Ã山ǿ¼é's production of Massenet's Cendrillon, where she played one of the six Esprits. In addition to opera, Zoé sang with the Filles de L'île choir in Handel's Messiah this past season under the baton of Jacques Lacombe. Dedicated on and off the stage, Zoé was awarded Ã山ǿ¼é's Foundation McAbbie scholarship for the 2023-2024 school year.
