8th RNA Stability Conference
mRNA Turnover Mechanisms, Regulation and their Implication in Infectious and Age-Related Diseases
Co-Chairs: Dr. Imed Gallouzi and Dr. Jeff Wilusz
This will be the eighth in a very productive series of meetings which took place previously in Florence, Italy (2003), Arolla, Switzerland (2005), Asheville, North Carolina (2008), Montreal, Canada (2010), Strasbourg, France (2013), Estes Park, Colorado (2015) and Oxford, UK (2017). More than 30 speakers have accepted our invitation to present at the conference.
This conference historically attracts between 125 and 150 principal investigators and students from North America, Europe and Asia. The 8th RNA Stability meeting will address RNA Turnover with discussions on mechanisms of translational control involving RNA binding proteins and MicroRNAs. Additionally, many of the invited and selected speakers, as well as poster presenters, will focus on the link between the RNA turnover mechanisms and their pathological ramifications.
