Title:听On the Gan-Gross-Prasad conjecture for U(2)xU(3)

Abstract: The Jacquet-Rallis relative trace formula was introduced as a tool to prove global conjectures of Gan-Gross-Prasad (GGP) for unitary groups. Its simple version has been successfully applied, through the work of Z. Yun and W. Zhang, to prove substantial part of the GGP conjectures as well as its refinement proposed by Ichino-Ikeda and N. Harris. Full trace formula is expected to prove the conjectures completely. In our work with P.-H. Chaudouard such a formula has been developed and the analysis of its geometric side has been completed. In this talk I will talk about an ongoing project with P.-H. Chaudouard aiming to study the spectral side of the Jacquet-Rallis trace formula. Applications to the GGP and Ichino-Ikeda conjectures for the U(2)xU(3) case will be discussed.
