AES Spring Convocation - Ceremony 'A'

Students who complete their program at the end of Fall 2021 (February 2022 graduates) or Winter 2022 (May/June 2022 graduates) cross the stage at the Spring 2022 Convocation ceremonies to obtain their degrees.

Barring any unforeseen changes to the public health landscape, below is the schedule of in-person ceremonies for Spring 2022 Convocation for the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences - Ceremony A.

Note that we are still working on confirming various details such the capacity at each ceremony, the number of guests permitted and the required COVID-19 protocols that will be in place. Details will be posted on this graduation website, as they become available so please check back regularly.

Honorary doctorate award

This year, to celebrate students’ outstanding achievements, the University will welcome 14 inspirational individuals who have made exceptional contributions to both their own fields and society as a whole.

B.A. (Wesleyan University), M.D. (University of Pennsylvania), Ph.D. (Massachusetts Institute of Technology)

Dr. William Dietz has built a career in public health focused on obesity prevention, nutrition and physical activity. He is the Director of theÌýSumner M. Redstone Global Center for Prevention and WellnessÌýat the Milken Institute School of Public Health at The George Washington University. Dr. Dietz is the author of more than 200 scientific publications and the editor of five books, includingÌýClinical Obesity in Adults and ChildrenÌýandÌýNutrition: What Every Parent Needs to Know.
