International Fee Exemptions

In accordance with the regulations prescribed by the Quebec Ministry of Education, there are ten categories of exemption from international tuition fees. A complete list of the guidelines and regulations can be found on the Ministry website in the document . The deadline for the submission of claims is the last day of classes in each term. Claims will only be considered for the semester in which the complete documentation is received.

Note: Special and Visiting students are not entitled to international fee exemptions; however,听citizens of France and citizens from the francophone community of Belgium are eligible to听be billed at the Canadian rate of tuition.

Note: ALL required documentation must be received in order for the relevant exemption to be valid.

Note regarding Special Students registered in courses required by Quebec Professional Orders: please refer to the section under this title on the Student Accounts webpage: .

Note regarding self-funded programs: ALL students - regardless of legal status - are charged the same rate of tuition fees. Fee exemptions are therefore not applicable to these specific programs. Please refer to the list of Self-funded programs on the Student Accounts website.
