The Faculty of Law is proud to announce that Professor Robert Leckey, a William Dawson Scholar in the Faculty of Law and a member of the Paul-André Crépeau Centre for Private and Comparative Law, has been elected to the Global Young Academy.

Based in Berlin, the prestigious Academy consists of more than 155 young, independent researchers from around the world, who come together to address topics of global importance during a four-year term.

Members of the Global Young Academy combine the highest level of research excellence with a demonstrated passion for delivering impact. As such, said Dean Daniel Jutras, “It sounds like a perfect match for Robert, who is indeed young, independent, and a superb scholar and public intellectual.”
