Jeffrey Edwards appointed to the Civil Division of the Court of Quebec

The Faculty of Law was delighted to learn that on January 29, 2014, adjunct professor Jeffrey Edwards (BCL’86, LLB’86) was appointed to the Civil Division of the Court of Quebec in Montreal.
Justice Edwards, who was admitted to the Bar in 1987, has mostly practiced civil and commercial litigation. He is also an accredited arbitrator and mediator, and as such, he specializes in the resolution of construction and product quality claims.
Since 1998, Edwards has headed the litigation department of Tutino Edwards Joseph, in Montreal, where he has specialized in product liability, real estate and construction law. At the Faculty, Edwards has taught the law of sale and product liability.
