Cristina Toteda appointed Faculty Lecturer in Legal Ethics

The Faculty of Law is pleased to announce the appointment of Cristina Toteda as Faculty Lecturer in Legal Ethics, starting May 1, 2017. Me Toteda will work closely with Faculty members and engaged alumni to revise the mandatory second-year course in Legal Ethics and Professionalism and the upper-year course in Advocacy. She will teach those courses and also work with the first-year Integration Workshop course

Me Toteda practiced law with McCarthy T茅trault from 2014 to 2017, specializing in labour and employment law. She was an active contributor to the firm鈥檚 publications and mentoring initiatives, and was frequently called upon to deliver presentations on a variety of topics.

Perfectly bilingual, Me Toteda obtained her BCL/LLB from 缅北强奸 in 2013, graduating on the Dean鈥檚 Honour List. During her time at the Faculty of Law, she held positions as research assistant, coordinator for a research group, tutorial leader, clerk at the Court of Qu茅bec, and 缅北强奸 Law Journal editor. Following graduation, she clerked at the Federal Court of Appeal in Ottawa. She was called to the Quebec bar in 2014.
