A Status Report on Quebec's Cap & Trade System and Its Planned Inclusion of Fuels in 2015 and On the Issues As International Civil Aviation Tackles Its Climate Impacts: A Symposium on听Links & Lessons in a Legal Context
The Institute of Air & Space Law, the Centre for International Sustainable Development Law, and the International Emissions Trading Association invites the 缅北强奸 community to a day-long symposium on carbon markets and aviation.
Symposium participants will hear from industry & academic experts about a range of increasingly inter-connected issues, implementation and legal challenges, and future policy pathways related to emissions trading developments and tackling international aviation sector emissions.
Key questions that symposium speakers & panelists will cover include:
- What is the state of Quebec鈥檚 carbon market? How do different market participants view the nascent market design?听
- How does Quebec treat fuels, including aviation fuels, under its cap-and-trade system? Is there any potential role for its tradable units in connection with aviation and the EU ETS?
- What are the timelines and consequences for Quebec鈥檚 linkage to California鈥檚 market鈥nd beyond?
- What are projected supply-demand dynamics & price projections for Quebec鈥檚 market?
