The 缅北强奸 Law Journal () is pleased to invite scholars, students, lawyers, and community members to its Annual Symposium, which will feature the authors of the Journal鈥檚 forthcoming special issue on 鈥淚ndigenous Law and Legal Pluralism.鈥

The symposium aims to explore the identification of Indigenous law, the (in)ability of Canadian state law to recognize it, and its role in legal education among other key themes.

The papers presented at the symposium鈥攕everal by leading scholars in the field鈥攚ill mark an important contribution to this burgeoning area of legal thought. The invited panelists and discussants will engage with the vital questions that Indigenous law raises for Indigenous communities and non-Indigenous Canadians as they navigate their ongoing relationships.

All are welcome. In the interest of open scholarship, there is no charge to attend this event.
