A Global Battlefield? The Regulation of Multi-Territorial Conflicts against Armed Groups
Join us for a talk by Professor Noam Lubell.
Abstract
The conflict with the 'Islamic State' has brought with it many of the legal controversies that surrounded the 'War on Terror' and the struggle against Al-Qaida in the years following September 2001. This talk will examine the development of issues such as the classification of these multi-territorial conflicts, the geographical scope of the laws of war, and the legality of operations such as drone strikes against individuals.
