The Friends of the Library present their annual F.R. Scott Lecture, with the Hon. John H. Gomery and Bernard St. Laurent.
In this F.R. Scott Lecture, Hon. John H. Gomery (BCL'56) and Bernard St. Laurent will take a critical look at corruption in politics and explore the recurring phenomenon of corruption in government, the usefulness of commissions of enquiry to expose unlawful conduct and mismanagement and why such commissions tend to be loved by the public and disliked, with some justification, by those whose names are mentioned during the hearings.
The lecture is free and open to everyone to attend.
Presented in partnership with Heenan Blaikie.
Limited seating. Please RSVP at rsvp.libraries [at] mcgill.ca or 514.398.4681
