Our GIS day this year will revolve around Space and Place.

Keynote speech by Prof. Grant McKenzie at 1 p.m., BH511 on “Space, Place and the Fourth Paradigm of Scienceâ€
Further talks by ESRI, Statistics Canada, LocalLogic and our former grad students, Chris Liang and Noé Schultz (schedule see below). We will also have a mapathon by OMG Ã山ǿ¼é!
We will have the students’ GIS works session (Ã山ǿ¼é students, please send your GIS related poster or presentation to gicsupport [at] mcgill.ca by Nov, 9 and have the chance to win a price!), free coffee and, of course, the Wine & Cheese reception.
