Retreat for Administrative Staff of Family Medicine
Team-Building Retreat
Are you an administrative staff of the Department of Family Medicine? If so, then this retreat is for YOU! We will be meeting in downtown Montreal for a few hours once the general Departmental Retreat is over. We will be connecting and doing some fun team-building exercises together. Professor Jafine Hartley from McMaster University is flying in from Toronto just to meet us! His areas of teaching and research include applied drama, health humanities,Ìýand arts-based research practices. When not on the McMaster campus, Hartley lectures on the health humanities at the University of Toronto – Scarborough and works as a freelance applied drama practitioner in healthcare. For over a decade, he has been integrating drama, improv, and play within health professions education. He is interested in questions of how theatre can enhance the performance of healthcare, build community, and create systemic change. Professor Hartley comes highly recommended!
