The Department's Wellness Committee organized a Halloween event on October 20th, which involved a best costume competition as well as a surprise spooky game.
The best costume went to Tobias Gurl who is pursuing an MSc in Family Medicine, and the second and third place winners were Andrea Zdyb (Administrative Coordinator) and Sheila Zoghaib (Longitudinal Family Medicine Coordinator).
The surprise game entailed mummifying our Chair Dr. Marion Dove, as well as our Associate Director of Administration, Kennedy Kanyangonda and Postgraduate Program Director, Dr. Fanny Hersson-Edery. The teams of three were randomly assigned and were tested on various skills including team work, communication, leadership, creativity, and time management (there were only 10 minutes to complete the challenge). The different teams were put on the spot to work with those who they do not tend to work with, to see if they can work together to create the best mummy boss.
Thank you to everyone who participated!
