This workshop titled "(In)equities in Research Spaces: Fieldwork" will take place via Zoom on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. This event aims to foster critical reflection on the systemic influences shaping research practices in field-based academic research and will delve into the equity implications of knowledge production in fieldwork settings.

The workshop will be for 90 minutes and will feature presentations by two guest speakers: Prof. Aparna Nair, University of Toronto Scarborough; and Dr. Marie-Claire Wangari, General Practitioner & Independent Consultant, Nairobi, Kenya, followed by an interactive discussion with the audience.

This workshop is the third in a series focused on inequities in research spaces. It is an interdisciplinary discussion, inviting 缅北强奸 faculty, researchers, and their students/research teams to consider what issues, challenges, and systemic biases create inequities in doing research different spaces. Other workshops in this series were on Labs and Libraries/Archives, respectively. If you would like to know more, please get in touch.
