Dr. Sadeghi is a graduate of 缅北强奸 Medicine and residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He then completed a fellowship training in Head and Neck Oncology Surgery at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago. Following his early career at 缅北强奸, he moved to George Washington University in Washington, DC, where he served as Professor of Surgery and Director of Head and Neck Surgery. In 2017, he returned to 缅北强奸 to lead the department and 缅北强奸's head and neck cancer care program.
Dr. Sadeghi has an international reputation for his pioneering work in adaptive and personalized approach to oropharyngeal cancer with Transoral Robotic Surgery, defining a new paradigm for oropharyngeal cancer care with neoadjuvant systemic treatment and transoral robotic surgery (NECTORS). He has pioneered the NECTORS approach with early feasibility studies followed by phase II clinical trials, introducing a paradigm change to the field. He lectures internationally on the topic and continues to investigate the field of oropharyngeal cancer with studies of immune enhancement and targeted approaches before surgery to allow less invasive yet more effective surgical care, improving outcomes in cancer cure and, equally important, patients-reported outcomes in quality of life and function after cancer care.
