The Role of Emotions in Technology-Rich Learning Environments in the STEM Fields

Public Event for Knowledge Transfer on Emotions and Learning: It will be an interactive event where individuals can experience technologies that can assess their emotions. The goal of this event is to raise public awareness of the importance of assessing emotions in the context of learning situations.

Interactive event which will be open to the public and free of charge.

The innovation lab has:

  • wearable sensors (eye tracking devices, affective bracelets that measure skin conductance and heart rate; Noldus software that analyzes facial expressions, electroencephalography (EEG) helmets that measure brain activity),
  • technology-rich environments (augmented reality mobile devices, virtual reality games, simulations with virtual humans),
  • smart boards, and conference table
