Desautels places first at Queen's I.C.B.C. Case Competition

Congratulations to the Ã山ǿ¼é Desautels accounting team for their first-place win at the I.C.B.C. case competition. The team consisting of Thomas Wakeham and Francois Kik was coached and assisted by Julia Scott and Peg Brunelle.

Desautels finishes strong at 2022 ICBC

Five BCom case teams made the finals at the 44th annual Inter-Collegiate Business Competition (ICBC) hosted virtually by Queen's University from January 13 to 16, 2022 with the Finance and Ethics teams each taking first place. Winning teams:

Professor Julia Scott receives prestigious FCPA designation

The Desautels Faculty of Management congratulates Professor Julia Scott for being recognized with CPA Ontario’s coveted FCPA designation. The FCPA distinction is reserved for those at the pinnacle of their careers; it is the highest honour that can be bestowed on a member.

Desautels scores win at inaugural Lazaridis International Case Conference 2018

Congratulations to Desautels undergraduates O’Nell Agossa, Vera Barile, Alana D’Amico and Noemi Holczer for winning the inaugural 2018 Lazaridis International Case Conference hosted by Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario from Oct. 7 to 13, 2018, as well as to Vera Barile for securing the award for Best Speaker.

GCPA raffle raises over $1,000 for West Island flood victims

The GCPA program raised a total of $1,515 through a raffle to support the Canadian Red Cross and victims of the West Island floods.

The winner was a second-year GCPA student, Steffi Nguonly, who announced that she too would be donating her winnings in support of the same cause.

Thank you to all members of the #DesautelsFamily who purchased raffle tickets and helped make the initiative a success!
