What Black Panther can teach us about the power of authenticity at work

In a recent opinion piece for Huffington Post Quebec, Desautels Professor Patricia Hewlin uses the box-office sensation Black Panther to illustrate some of her findings on authenticity and conformity in the workplace.
Much like Okoye and Nakia in the film, Prof. Hewlin argues that if employees are empowered by their organization to tap into their true selves, then great benefits are bound to follow for all.
