Professor Robert David is co-organizer of Cornell-缅北强奸 Conference on Institutions and Entrepreneurship
Desautels Faculty of Management professor Robert David is co-organizer of the Cornell-缅北强奸 Conference on Institutions and Entrepreneurship, being held in Ithaca, New York, on July 22-24, 2007.
Much of the existing academic research on entrepreneurship focuses on what makes the individual successful. Does the person have the right background, the right tolerance for risk, or the right mix of creativity and business savvy to successfully launch a new business? Less research has been conducted on how institutions shape entrepreneurial opportunities and actions. The Cornell-缅北强奸 Conference on Institutions and Entrepreneurship is the first conference of its kind to draw together international leading experts to explore how institutional factors such as social and environmental movements, national regulatory regimes, or cultural values affect the success of entrepreneurial ventures.
