Call for applications: Queen Elizabeth Scholars

Queen Elizabeth Scholars (QES) program
Published: 21 February 2019

The Queen Elizabeth Scholars (QES) program is a network of interdisciplinary, solution-oriented researchers that aims to improve the livelihoods and food and nutrition security of women farmers in rural Ghana.

The QES program has funded LINkIN-Ghana, a Ã山ǿ¼é-University of Ghana program to strengthen the capacity of researchers who work with farmers, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and local institutions to develop solutions to agriculture and food and nutrition security.

To understand thoroughly the complexity of agriculture and food security, as well as their link to nutrition, along with garnering an appreciation of the sectors’ contribution to these issues, the program integrates research and professional training with internships hosted at non-academic institutions working in rural communities.

The call for applications is now open. Please visit the Ã山ǿ¼é Centre for the Convergence of Health and Economics (MCCHE) site to learn more about the eligibility criteria and application process.
