Air travel rebounded after lockdown restrictions eased, but not all airports have recovered to pre-pandemic passenger numbers.

Published: 25 July 2023

After lockdown restrictions eased, many Canadians decided to take vacations they’d been putting off for several years. "After a couple of years, there was a sense that ‘I owe myself, I owe my family the chance to get out there on the road,’" said Prof. Karl Moore to CBC News New Brunswick. "Business is also starting to travel more because there's a point to press the flesh, to go out there and see your customers and potential customers or suppliers."
