Abstract:

In this workshop, we will focus on how to publish qualitative entrepreneurship research in leading journals. Taking the paper “The Art of the Pivot†(AMJ, 2020) as a starting point, we will take a behind-the-scenes look at the publication journey and explore key lessons for publishing such research. We will discuss practical, theoretical and methodological considerations for this. Participants will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and explore their ideas further. If you can, please skim the paper below in order to get the most out of the workshop.

Christian's research has appeared in the Academy of Management Journal and Academy of Management Review, among other outlets. His dissertation was one of three finalists for the 2017 Grigor McClelland Doctoral Dissertation Award.

Christian currently teaches entrepreneurship and social innovation at master's and MBA level.
