About Robert Ouellette:
Robert Ouellette is Senior Vice-President of Technology and Shared Services of Desjardins Group. He is responsible for overseeing IT development for Desjardins Group, including the caisse network, managing strategic partnerships and procurement agreements and implementing shared services to improve the effectiveness of common business processes.
An engineer, Mr. Ouellette began his career at Accenture, one of the largest global business consulting firms. For 19 years, the last 5 of which as partner, he led a number of projects in the area of information system design and implementation, business process reengineering and shared services centre implementation.
Before joining Desjardins Group in May 2009, Mr. Ouellette held the position of Vice President & Chief Information Officer at Alcan. His international mandates included using technology to optimize business performance. He was also responsible for the strategic coordination of the company's shared services initiatives in the area of information technology, finance and human resources.
A graduate of the 脡cole Polytechnique de Montr茅al of the Universit茅 de Montr茅al, Robert Ouellette is a member of the Ordre des ing茅nieurs du Qu茅bec.
