Biography

Ann Brosseau has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in organizational psychology, leadership, and human resource management since 2003. From 2002 to 2008, she was also employed by the House of Commons (Ottawa), where she was last acting as Director of Human Resource Strategies and Development. She also has previous experience in the areas of training, coaching, organizational development, and psychological counseling. Since 2008, she has been working as an independent human resource management consultant, where she helps clients implement competency-based human resource management systems.

Ms. Brosseau is currently pursuing interdisciplinary doctoral studies in the fields of organizational psychology, human resource management, and sociology, where her PhD research focuses on the links between individuals, their work and their life outside of work (family, community, social, etc.) and the impact of those links on individual鈥檚 intention to stay or leave the organization for which they work. She holds a B.A. specialized in applied social science and a M.A. in educational studies (concentration: adult education) from Concordia University, and a professional degree in counseling. She is qualified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory and the Benchmark 360 degree feedback tool for leaders and managers.
