Global Change Leaders: Certificate Program for Emerging Women Leaders
A scholarship is available in 2014 for one emerging woman leader from a First Nations, 惭茅迟颈蝉 or Inuit community in Canada to take part in the Global Change Leaders program, along with other women leaders working on development issues around the world.
The International Centre for Women's Leadership is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for its 2014 Global Change Leaders program. This seven week course is offered at the in Nova Scotia, Canada.
The Global Change Leaders program is a fully-funded opportunity for women from developing countries and indigenous communities to develop and deepen their leadership capacities through a contextually relevant and in-depth seven-week residency program. This program is targeted at emerging women leaders from developing countries who are working on development issues. These are women who have a minimum of four years of leadership experience and who have great drive and passion for their work, demonstrated through their outstanding contributions in their organizations and communities. They have tremendous potential to further develop as strong leaders and to contribute to positive change. The seven week program will offer participants an opportunity to strengthen and enhance their leadership skills through a rigorous development program facilitated by experienced faculty at the Coady International Institute, to receive mentoring from selected established women leaders from around the world and to connect to a global network of peers. The program will commence on August 25, 2014 and end on October 10, 2014. Selected participants will receive a full scholarship, including transportation. The language of instruction is English.
