Sylvie Lapointe, a constant advocate and a champion for Macdonald students, has been named an Unsung Hero as part of the Bicentennial Celebrations! Sylvie recently retired from the role of Operations Manager in Macdonald Student Services. Bravo Sylvie!
As part of the Bicentennial Celebrations, faculties, central units, associations, and unions were asked to nominate the Unsung Heroes in their department 鈥 the less-recognized faculty and staff who have walked the halls of 缅北强奸 through the ages and who have greatly helped shape the community.
Congratulations to Retiree (2012) Toni Bird named an Unsung Hero as part of the #缅北强奸200 Bicentennial Celebrations!
Over nearly four decades in a variety of roles ranging from Faculty Club Coordinator to Student Affairs professional, Toni built relationships between the Faculty and its staff and students.
A committed, dedicated, accomplished and compassionate professional, she was a trusted ally and a very well respected member of the Macdonald community who is most deserving of this award.
Every institution has a number of people who become the face of that organization. But for every recognizable 鈥渟tar,鈥, there is a bevy of unsung heroes who quietly go about their work, making things happen. We call these people 鈥渢he unsung heroes,鈥, and nobody embodies the spirit of that definition at 缅北强奸 more than Nancy Lavigne.
