The Distinguished Teaching Award recipients聽Anna Kim听补苍诲听Warut Khern-am-nuai聽were honoured at 缅北强奸鈥檚 2023 Management Convocation ceremony on May 31, for their excellence in teaching.
Five Master of Management in Finance (MMF) students are off to the regional round of CFA Institute鈥檚 Research Challenge, an annual global competition that provides students with hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis and professional ethics. Facing stiff competition from HEC Montreal and Concordia University, Zirui (Bruce) Chen, Huiru (Audrey) Wu, Neil Wiacek, Chen (Andy) Yu and Haiwen Luo formed the team that came out on top.
Congratulations to Desautels students Olivier Arsenault (惭惭贵鈥�20), Pier-Olivier Lafl猫che (惭惭贵鈥�20), Sai Kanthasamy (BCom鈥�20), and Mitch McEwen (MMF鈥�20) for placing first in the Quebec regional CFA Research Challenge.

The team will head to New York in April to compete in the North America finals.
This year, 缅北强奸 celebrates the 10th anniversary of Desautels Capital Management (DCM), Canada鈥檚 first university-owned, student-run investment management firm.
At 缅北强奸鈥檚 Desautels Faculty of Management, every student enrolled in the Master of Management in Finance (MMF)听补苍诲 Honours in Investment Management (HIM) programs will enter the workforce with knowledge gleaned from managing more than $4 million in assets through DCM.
In collaboration with 缅北强奸鈥檚 鈥淏oost Your Health鈥� lecture series, Professor Vadim di Pietro will offer expert tips to relieve financial stress 鈥� one of the greatest threats to personal health & wellness.
As universities are increasingly turning toward socially responsible investment (SRI), an article cites the new SRI fund under Desautels Capital Management (DCM) as an 鈥渋nspiring example.鈥�
Through the SRI fund, students working as analysts at DCM will be able to factor environmental, social, and governance issues into their investment decision-making process.
This fall, the Desautels Faculty of Management will introduce a new fund dedicated to Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) under (DCM) 鈥� a student-run, registered investment management firm.
Established in 2009, DCM presently comprises three funds totaling $5 million that students enrolled in the Honours in Investment Management and Masters of Management in Finance (MMF) programs have the chance to manage as analysts.
