Over the summer, their innovative hydroponic growing system won first place at the annual 缅北强奸 Dobson Cup start-up competition. As they expand into a larger growing facility in Montreal, they鈥檙e not slowing down anytime soon.
Marie-H茅l猫ne Nolet (BCom鈥94) brings more than 25 years of expertise in business governance, venture capital investment, and mergers and acquisitions to her new role as Chief Operating Office of Desjardins Capital. As Quebec鈥檚 small- and medium-sized enterprises struggle to stay afloat during the COVID-19 pandemic, Nolet will play a leading role in promoting and supporting their long-term growth.
Charles Beaudry (BCom鈥16) joins a distinguished class of changemakers on the Corporate Knights鈥 list of Top 30 under 30 sustainability leaders. In the absence of a provincial plan for Quebec to implement the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Beaudry is mobilizing more than 50 organizations through the newly created Acc茅l茅rer 2030 pour le Qu茅bec consortium.

Maxime Lakat (BCom鈥21) recently joined an accomplished roster of change agents on the Corporate Knights鈥 2020 list of Top 30 under 30 leaders in sustainability. In 2019, Lakat founded the Canadian Business Youth Council for Sustainable Development to bring together student organizations focused on sustainable business.
Desautels retained its 14th place ranking on Corporate Knights鈥 2020 Better World MBA list and placed 4th on its inaugural Better World BComs Top 10 list.
With multiple Olympic medals, World Championships, and World Cup titles to her name, mogul champion Jennifer Heil (BCom鈥13) is currently spearheading a new effort to support elite Canadian athletes. Heil received the 2020 Young Alumni Achievement Award at the Desautels Management Achievement Awards.
