Bertrand Lebouch茅 and Charo Rodriguez were awarded a grant totaling 160,000.00 CAD for their application to the Mitacs-Accelerate Internship Program (72,000 from the partner organization, Merck Inc, and 88,000 from Mitacs). Mitacs is a national, not-for-profit organization that supports research-based innovation, in part, through a research internship program designed to increase deployment of highly educated graduates into the private sector.

The Isaac Tannenbaum Annual Research Day on May 29 brought together essentially all of our residents from our six Family Medicine Units and our three satellites sites.听 The resident oral presentations were fantastic with many were excellent examples of practice-based research pointing to how practice can be improved by research.听 These presentations were complemented by our guest speakers, Dr. Howard Bergman who spoke about our growing academic department and Dr. Marion who talked about her journey as a clinician scientist.听 We also had Ms.
