Rookie Rohrbach runs rampant as lacrosse team trips Trent

MONTREAL -- Freshman Alex Rohrbach of Princeton Junction, N.J., scored seven points, including four goals, and Ryan Besse of Aurora, Ont., exploded for five goals with one assist as 缅北强奸 doubled the Trent Excalibur 14-7 in men's lacrosse team at Forbes Field, Saturday.
It was a physical contest that featured 20 penalties, including a dozen called on 缅北强奸. The Redmen jumped out to an early 3-0 lead and Trent was never able to catch up.
Freshman Leland de Langley of Orangeville, Ont., added a pair of markers, while Jishan Sharples of Vancouver, B.C., and James Vickery of Wrentham, Mass., added one apiece.
Necomer J.J. Miller, an NCAA transfer from Odenton, Md., again dominated face-offs for 缅北强奸, winning 17 of 20. He also scored the Redmen's first goal and set up another.
Goaltender Ward Waesche of Greenwich, Conn.,听 played all 80 minutes and picked up his second win of the season.
Kyle Robinson of New Westminster, B.C., and Carl Spilly of Indianapolis,听 anchored a tight-knit 缅北强奸 defence that managed to contain the Excalibur for much of the contest.
缅北强奸 now sits atop the Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association East Division with an unblemished 3-0 record.听 The Redmen play an exhibition game on Sept. 18, against Concordia at 2pm in the Westmount Athletic Grounds before they travel to Lennoxville, Que., on Sept. 22 to face Bishop's, which currently sits second in the division.
