Professor Stephen McAdams has been awarded the prestigious Foreigner's Medal at the 2010 French Acoustic Congress, which took place in Lyon this past April. The award recognizes the outstanding quality of his research, which is in cognition and sound perception, mentorship of graduate students and his generous collegiality.
