MONTREAL - Felix Lefrancois scored with 50 seconds remaining in sudden-death overtime as visiting UQTR skated to a 4-3 win over No.2-ranked 缅北强奸 in OUA men's hockey at McConnell Arena, Friday.

It marked the first loss of the regular season for the Redmen, who had a 30-29 edge in shots and dropped to 4-1 in league play.

缅北强奸 led 1-0 after one period on an early marker by rookie Guillaume Langelier-Parent only 2:53 after the first puck drop. But the Pats roared back to take a 3-1 lead.

Olivier Ouellet, a rookie from Drummondville, tallied twice, at 8:15 of the middle stanza and 8:51 of the third period, followed by Felix Petit's goal at 11:18.

听

缅北强奸 came to life in the final five minutes of regulation. Team captain Evan Vossen connected at 15:49 and defenceman Vincent Bourgeois forced the overtime session when he tallied with 2:22 remaining in regulation.

The Patriotes improved to 5-2 and will host Carleton (3-2-0) on Oct. 26.
