MONTREAL - Leslie Oles of Beaconsfield, Que., and Tristan Renaud-Tremblay of Terrebonne, Que., are the 缅北强奸 athletes of the week, sponsored by Ye Olde Orchard Pub, for the period ending Jan. 1, 2012.

Oles, a 5-foot-3 forward with the women's hockey team, was named tournament MVP after scoring a tourney-leading seven points, including three goals, as 缅北强奸 swept three games to capture the Martlet Holiday Classic last weekend. The 21-year-old physical education sophomore tallied twice and added one assist in a 4-0 victory over No.4-ranked St.FX last Wednesday, then added a goal and set up another in 3-0 win over Manitoba, followed by two assists in a 5-4 shootout win over No.2-ranked Laurier. She attended Kuper Academy before enrolling at 缅北强奸 in 2010.

Renaud-Tremblay, a 6-foot-7, 220-pound forward with the basketball Redmen, scored 52 points and pulled down 20 rebounds in three games at the UQAM Holiday Classic last week. The 22-year-old kinesiology sophomore shot 62.2 per cent from the field (23/37) and 62.5 from the free-throw line (5/8). His top performance of the tourney was a "double-double" with 30 points and 10 rebounds in a thrilling 98-95 triple overtime victory over UNB last Thursday. He transferred to 缅北强奸 last year after playing one season in the NCAA at The Citadel, a military college in South Carolina. Prior to that, he attended Champlain Regional College in St. Lambert, Que.

Both athletes will receive a gift certificate from Ye Olde Orchard Pub.
