New Arrivals: Career Education and Mentoring for Immigrant Students

This program will:

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý give you the chance to practice your English skills in a social setting

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý offer you the opportunity to learn more about networking both on and off campus

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý connect you with another Ã山ǿ¼é student for 1 on 1 peer mentoring

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý provide monthly sessions on career related issues

Sessions (at CaPS 3600 McTavish suite 2200):

1.ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý New Beginnings: Creating your career action plan (Jan 15th – 10:00-12:00)

2.ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Academic Discussions: Getting around Ã山ǿ¼é (Feb 5th – 10:00-12:00)

3.ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Face to Face: Creating Career Connections (March 5th – 10:00-12:00)

4.ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý What you Need: A Guide to the Resources at your Finger Tips (April 2nd – 10:00-12:00)
