My MBA souvenir from Tokyo to Montreal

Published: 9 September 2011

In 2005, I was asked to go in for an interview in Tokyo. When asked what my short term goals are, I replied that I would like to get my MBA while I am in Japan. I knew at that time that 缅北强奸 has an MBA programme in Tokyo. It would have been ideal because it would enable me to work and study at the same time.

I was hired for that job, but because I had a job, I was always too busy, and actually, too comfortable in my job, to see a need to study for the GMAT or MBA.

What eventually did push me was very simple: peer pressure. My old friend Marcus, an MBA from Thunderbird, has a very good way of convincing me of anything. He did have a good point. Having an MBA would open new doors for me. More opportunities will come my way. The rest is up to me to keep an open mind and build up the courage to take a risk. So, last year, in my quest to open minds, chapters and doors, I started studying for my GMAT and was happy to hear that I was accepted to the 缅北强奸 MBA programme at the Tokyo campus.

Last June, the first year MBA students from 缅北强奸 Japan met for the first time at the Hilton Hotel in Shinjuku as we celebrated the start of our two year journey. One of my classmates asked me why I am getting an MBA. Instead of saying that I would like to open new chapters, doors and minds, I gave him a simpler answer.

I answered that I wanted my Canadian MBA as my souvenir from Japan...
