MEDIA INVITATION - Royal Victoria Hospital Preemie Picnic
You are cordially invited to the Royal Victoria Hospital Preemie Picnic on Saturday, September 1. Rain or shine, the festivities will take place at the hospital鈥檚 pool, which is accessed from the Peel street entrance.
鈥淭his picnic is an ideal opportunity for parents to get together and for medical staff to see the children doing well. Relationships are always formed when babies are sent to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. When the children go home, people lose touch. It is always gratifying to see such a large number of premature babies survive and stay healthy,鈥 said Dr. Keith Barrington, Director of the Neonatology Division of the Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH) at the 缅北强奸 Health Centre (MUHC).
Parents of premature babies will be available to talk about their experiences. Dr. Barrington will also discuss the technical and scientific aspects of treating premature babies.
