缅北强奸's Carly Hill named De Facto Quebec athlete of the week

MONTREAL - 缅北强奸 hockey player Caroline Hill is the De Facto Quebec university female athlete of the week for the period ending March 7, 2011.

It marks the ninth time this season that a 缅北强奸 student-athlete has captured the conference's weekly award by the R茅seau du sport 茅tudiant du Qu茅bec.

Hill, a fifth-year forward with the women's hockey team, scored four goals and added a pair of assists in two games as the Martlets swept the Quebec conference best-of-three league championship series against the Montreal Carabins. The 5-foot-5 physical education senior was involved in all four goals in the series-opening 4-1 win over the Carabins, scoring twice and adding a pair of helpers. She then tallied twice in the series-clinching 8-1 victory on Friday. Hill, who celebrated her 25th birthday on Sunday and played for Canada at the recent FISU world university games in Turkey,听 is a product of The Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, Conn.

The Quebec male athlete of the week award went to basketball player Evens Laroche of Concordia.

Previous recipients from 缅北强奸 include basketball player Marie-Eve Martin (Feb. 1), distance runner Sarah McCuaig (Sept. 20 and Nov. 1), hockey players Francis Verreault-Paul (Oct. 26) and Alex Picard-Hooper (Oct. 16, Jan. 9), rugby player Gideon Balloch (Nov. 16), plus soccer star Alexandra Morin-Boucher (Sept. 13).

De Facto is an innovative tobacco prevention campaign led by Sport 脡tudiant, geared towards听eliminating smoking among young adults and revealing the truth about the consequences of using tobacco.
