Published: 1 August 2008

An Inuit health survey is taking place across the northern parts of the country, with the team of researchers finishing their work in Nunatsiavut. The survey, which begins Aug. 10, is being performed by the 缅北强奸 Centre for Indigenous Peoples' Nutrition and Environment. More than 1,000 people in 20 communities in Canada's north will take part. The research team will travel on board the Canadian Coast Guard Ship Amundsen as they do the research. The survey will begin at Tuktoyaktuk and continue eastward through the Inuvialuit Settlement region, before going to Nunavut and Nunatsiavut. The goal of the survey is to provide insight into the health of Inuit after changes in food choices, lifestyle and the physical environment.
