MONTREAL -- Sophomore Kim Ton-That and senior Ann-Sophie Bettez each scored and added an assist as the No.1-ranked 缅北强奸 Martlets closed out their semester with a 4-1 come-from-behind victory at Concordia in women's hockey at Ed Meagher Arena, Saturday afternoon.

It was 缅北强奸's 91st consecutive victory against QUHL opponents. The Martlets improved to 10-0 in league play, while Concordia dropped to 4-3-2. 缅北强奸 also extended their win streak over the Stingers to 35 straight games.

After a scoreless first period, the Stingers struck first when Emilie Bocchia of St. Leonard, Que., beat 缅北强奸 netminder Charline 尝补产辞苍迟茅 of Boisbriand, Que., at 6:24 of the middle frame.

That goal stirred the Martlets from a mid-afternoon siesta and they scored twice over the next 10 minutes and added a pair in the final period.

Defenceman Gillian Ferrari got the ball rolling when she converted passes from Ton-That and Logan Murray with her third of the campaign at 9:42.

Less than seven minutes later, Ton-That netted the game-winner. 听The native of Vaudreuil-Dorion, Que., now has five goals and nine points, already surpassing her totals of last season in half as many games.

Bettez, a speedy forward from Sept-Iles, Que., then went to work, scoring the insurance marker at 3:15 of the third stanza and setting up Jordanna Peroff of Keswick, Ont., for a shorthanded empty-netter with 46 seconds remaining.

Bettez, a two-time scoring champion in the Quebec conference, has finally re-taken the league lead with six goals and 13 points in 10 games. She is perched one point ahead of teammate Katia Clement-Heydra (4-8-12) and Kim Deschenes (7-5-12) of the Montreal Carabins.

缅北强奸 outshot the Stingers 29-20 as 尝补产辞苍迟茅 made 19 saves, improving her record to 8-0. She leads the CIS in shutouts (4), goals-against average (0.73) and save percentage (.954).

Concordia's Audrey Doyon-Lessard of Charny, Que., took the loss as her record fell to 4-5.

The Martlets are 13-0 overall against CIS opponents and now get a 25-day layoff for exams before they suit up again. Their next major test will be in Winnipeg for the Bison Holiday Classic, Dec. 29-31, where they will take on No.4-ranked Manitoba, Saskatchewan and No.5-Alberta.

MARTLET MURMURS: Blueliners have accounted for 20.6 per cent of 缅北强奸's scoring thus far (9 of 44)... Cathy Chartrand leads the way with five, followed by Jillian Ferrari (3) and Jasmine Sheehan (1)... Chartrand shares the points lead among CIS rearguards with 11 in 10 games... She is tied with Moncton's Genevieve David (12 games) and Laurier's Alannah Wakefield (15 games)... The Martlets have scored 29.5 per cent of their goals on special teams, with nine coming on the power play and four of them shorthanded.
