Joshua Krane gets 1st prize in Chaire de Notariat essay contest

BCL/LLB student Joshua Krane has won the first prize in the undergraduate category of the Chaire du notariat – 2007 Concours de rédaction juridique. The paper, "Beneficiary-Initiated Modification of Trusts: A Comparative Examination," explored whether beneficiaries of Quebec trusts can modify their trusts without court approval. The paper, written under the supervision of Professors Madeleine Cantin-Cumyn and Lionel Smith, will be published in a forthcoming edition of the Revue générale de droit. Bravo, Joshua!
