Jolly Good Fellowships
At a March 16, 2009, ceremony in Ottawa鈥檚 Fairmont Ch芒teau Laurier, 缅北强奸 researchers received two of the six 2009 E.W.R. Steacie Memorial Fellowships from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. Andrew Hendry (above left, with Prime Minister Stephen Harper) is an associate professor in the Department of Biology and the Redpath Museum; his research focuses on how ecological and evolutionary processes influence biodiversity. Karim Nader is an associate professor in the Department of Psychology who studies animal models of memory reconsolidation and motor maps in the brain. The Steacie Fellowships鈥�$90,000 a year for two years鈥攁re awarded to promising researchers who are earning a strong international reputation for original work.
