James Archibald named to...

The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade recently appointed James Archibald advisor to and member of the Canadian delegation to the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), which was held in Tunis from November 16 to 18. Foremost on the Tunis agenda was the question of Internet governance and of financing mechanisms. Archibald, Director of Translation Studies at the Centre for Continuing Education, has been active in WSIS since the first preparatory conferences leading up to the Geneva Summit in 2003.
