Invitation to a day of celebration, October 18
You are warmly invited to join us on the afternoon of Thursday, October 18, 2007, to celebrate Ã山ǿ¼é. It's a day when we salute you — the dedicated students, faculty, alumni and staff who make this University one of the top 25 in the world.
The afternoon begins with an interactive symposium addressing some of the major issues that concern us all: poverty, health and the environment. You will hear from a number of our outstanding colleagues, who are working across disciplines to help solve global problems. Ã山ǿ¼é's ambitious new comprehensive campaign will be launched, followed by "green" community barbecues on both campuses and a gala concert showcasing some of the Schulich School of Music's top young stars.
Please visit Campus Community Celebration for more information about the day and how to RSVP. To learn more about the campaign, please see the September 27 issue of the Ã山ǿ¼é Reporter.
I hope that you will join us in celebrating together as we mark this very exciting moment in Ã山ǿ¼é's history.
Warmest regards,
Principal and Vice-Chancellor Heather Munroe-Blum and the Board of Governors of Ã山ǿ¼é
