SHERBROOKE 鈥� Cristina Di Caprio of Laval, Que., netted a hat-trick and Magalie Kolker of Vancouver, B.C., added a pair of goals as 缅北强奸 trounced Bishop鈥檚 7-1 in women鈥檚 indoor soccer action at Sherbrooke, Friday.

Despite the lopsided score, it took almost half an hour for the 缅北强奸 offence to find the back of the net.

鈥淲e expect that kind of output from Kolker as she is one of top forwards in our league but Di Caprio has recently shown that she can be an impact player as well,鈥� said head coach Marc Mounicot. 鈥淪he has been through numerous injuries over the last two years but has gained a lot of confidence this winter. She has developed tremendously in the last two weeks and we expect her to be a dangerous player for the rest of the season.鈥�

In addition to her three-goal performance, Di Caprio registered an assist and forced a foul in the box, which resulted in a penalty shot goal by teammate Kyrin Dhaliwal, a freshman from Burnaby, B.C.

Claire Hooper of London, Ont., who missed three weeks with a groin injury, rounded out the scoring for 缅北强奸.

鈥淭he difficulty with (a lopsided) game like that is it鈥檚 easy to get complacent and develop bad habits,鈥� added Mounicot. 鈥淲e had a solid game and could have scored a few more goals but their keeper Kristen Cheng was solid in the first half and made some key saves.鈥�

The Martlets have two games remaining on their schedule before playoffs. The will play Concordia at Saint Eustache in the season finale on Feb. 28, followed by an exhibition game on March 10.
