Heather Munroe-Blum reappointed 缅北强奸 Principal and Vice-Chancellor

Robert Rabinovitch, Chair of the Board of Governors of 缅北强奸, has announced that, at its meeting on December 11, 2006, the board unanimously approved the reappointment of Professor Heather Munroe-Blum as Principal and Vice-Chancellor for a five-year term starting January 1, 2008, and ending December 31, 2012.

缅北强奸 Chancellor Richard Pound said, "During Principal Munroe-Blum's first term, 缅北强奸's performance and profile have improved locally, nationally and internationally, with a focus on the pursuit of excellence in all areas. We look forward to her continuing dynamic leadership and commitment to 缅北强奸 and the many communities it serves."

Professor Munroe-Blum became the 16th principal of 缅北强奸 in January 2003. She is also a member of the Faculty of Medicine and a professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Born in Montreal and raised in Ontario, Prof. Munroe-Blum is an Officer of the Order of Canada and a Specially Elected Fellow in the Academy of Science of the Royal Society of Canada.

On her reappointment, Prof. Munroe-Blum said, "My experience at 缅北强奸 has represented one of those truly fortuitous chapters in life when we find ourselves in the best possible place at the right time. Prof. Munroe-Blum served previously at the University of Toronto as a professor, as Vice-President, Research & International Relations (1994 to 2002), and as a governor of the University. Earlier, she was a professor at York University, at McMaster University and at the University of Toronto, where she also served as Dean of Social Work prior to becoming Vice-President. Professor Munroe-Blum holds the following degrees: BA, BSW (McMaster University); MSW (Wilfrid Laurier University); PhD with distinction (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill). Professor Munroe-Blum and her husband, Len Blum, a screenwriter and graduate of McMaster University, have one daughter.
